Apex Logic seeks an experienced Government Sales Director to lead and execute its government sales strategy.  Responsibilities include enhancing the GTM strategy, building and nurturing existing and new client accounts, developing and implementing sales plans, attending industry events, and collaborating with internal teams on CRM and pipeline management.  The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of software sales experience, at least 3 years in sales leadership, and 7+ years selling technical solutions to US Federal Government agencies.  Deep knowledge of government contracts and procurement is essential, as is the ability to work with a virtual cross-functional team and excel in presentations and proposal writing. This role requires excellent communication, strategic thinking and the ability to manage relationships at the executive level. The position focuses on revenue generation and maintaining high customer satisfaction within the DC Beltway region.

Apex Logic is looking for an experienced Government Sales Director who is&nbsp;easy to work with and demonstrates a passion for the job by providing strategic advice, guidance and directives to internal and external stakeholders, in addition to having revenue generation responsibility for new and existing Government agency clients. Responsibilities:

<li style="font-weight: 400;">Work with executive team to enhance GTM strategy and be responsible for fully realizing that strategy </li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Step in to build and nurture existing accounts and develop deep relationships with new clients</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Build and execute the Government sales strategy, process, and hiring plan as the company grows</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Attend trade shows, events, and customer roundtables to build relationships and our brand in the field</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Work with operations on the strategies and implementation of CRM, Pipeline Management, and Analytic tools</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">This position will align internal resources and partners to sell and support with a focus on growing overall revenue while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Follow up with customers to track satisfaction levels and to discover additional revenue opportunities</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Manage relationships at the executive level within the account</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Fulfill wide range of requests for information from prospective customers</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Stay abreast of federal policies which drive the development and usage of analytics across these departments and agencies</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Maintain accurate revenue forecasts</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Develop a basic understanding of company pricing, licensing procedures and approvals matrix</li>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">10+ years experience of software sales experience</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">3+ years in a sales leadership role</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">7 + years of selling technical solutions to US Federal Government agencies</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">A proven ability of working with Government Services and a developed professional network</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Deep knowledge of government contracts and procurement vehicles</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">A passion for coaching and mentoring sales professionals</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to work with a virtual cross-functional team to create solutions</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Strong presentation skills and proposal writing skills</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience working in or desire to work in an early-stage company</li>
