The individual should have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh McLennan Tax team as an Administrative Coordinator. This role will be based in our NYC office and is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Assist project managers with various tasks, such as organizing project timelines, coordinating team meetings, and managing project documentation.
  • Proactively identify and resolve administrative challenges by analyzing information, devising effective solutions, and communicating them to enhance overall performance.
  • Plan and coordinate department-wide events.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications for the department.
  • Monitor and track department and project budgets, including raising purchase orders, facilitating vendor invoice payments, and performing reconciliations of project expenses.
  • Help organize and maintain departmental files, records, and databases, ensuring they are structured and easily accessible.
  • Manage the end-to-end hiring and onboarding process for temporary colleagues (i.e., colleagues hired on a temporary basis, such as interns) within the department, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout their tenure.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a seamless transition for temporary staff joining the team, facilitating a positive onboarding experience.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of applied experience.
  • Proven experience in an administrative coordinator role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $52,400 to $104,800.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
