The writer will also collaborate with designers and marketers, stay updated on industry trends, and manage deliverables, ensuring high-quality work. They will also play with words and inject humor and personality into your writing. The ideal candidate will also be able to convey technical nuances as needed. The work should support awareness, engagement, and demand generation for the company.

About the Role:

Sitecore would like to hire a creative content writer to take on a mix of brand-focused writing and editing responsibilities, including writing social media and paid ad copy, emails and email series, web pages, blog articles, case studies, and other marketing materials as needed. You will be part of the content team within Sitecore’s Marketing Organization, reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, and work with the content marketing team while collaborating daily with Sitecore’s brand and creative, product marketing, product, events, and revenue marketing teams.

What You’ll Do: 
  • As a key voice behind the brand, you’ll craft compelling copy across a wide range of formats—from websites and video scripts to ads, social media, and more. You’ll help shape and evolve a brand voice that resonates with diverse global audiences, ensuring consistency while adapting tone and style for different platforms.
  • You will understand Sitecore’s messaging and reflect it in a high-impact manner, often using very few words. You will play with words and inject humor and personality into your writing.
  • Understanding how storytelling can extend and support product positioning and brand messaging while you will center the needs of customers in your writing to make it simple and to the point, conveying technical nuances as needed. You will provide feedback and bring draft content on the message to support work with Sitecore teams such as product or product marketing.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and marketers to bring campaigns, programs, and events to life, infusing every touchpoint with clarity, creativity, and purpose. Whether it’s a 2,000-word eBook for marketing executives or a punchy video script, your writing will support awareness, engagement, and demand generation.
  • You’ll stay plugged into industry trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table. You’ll also work hand-in-hand with the brand and creative team to support major events, ensuring every piece of content aligns with Sitecore’s tone and standards.
  • You’ll track deliverables in Wrike, manage your workload independently, and consistently meet deadlines while delivering high-quality work that moves the brand forward.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • 2–4 years of experience in editorial, journalism, social media, or content marketing or equivalent degree in marketing, English, or journalism
  • You’ve delivered standout content for global audiences and know how to balance creative vision with regional business needs
  • You’re a clear communicator and organized collaborator, comfortable presenting ideas and progress to cross-functional teams around the world
  • You manage projects and time with precision, juggle multiple priorities with ease, and approach new challenges with curiosity and resourcefulness
  • You work independently, take initiative, and thrive in fast-moving environments
  • Strong project management is key. 
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart: 
  • You’ve explored how AI can enhance storytelling and streamline workflows
  • You have a background in improv, sketch comedy, stand-up, or playwriting
