The People Business Partner will work with business leadership and the broader People function to drive the strategic people agenda. This role involves leading the execution of the people strategy to deliver business results and creating tailored solutions for the Operations division. Responsibilities include reinforcing LSEG values, acting as a change agent, building a diverse and inclusive environment, designing talent management activities, and using metrics and analytics to drive people performance. This role requires extensive experience in a large, global organization and the ability to influence senior business leaders, as well as design and deliver a global people strategy.

Job Description Role Overview

The People Business Partner is a highly matrixed role that requires you to work in a cohesive and collaborative manner with your business leadership team as well as the broader People function to drive the strategic people agenda. The People Business Partner will be an integral member of a global leadership team driving a truly interconnected people agenda that contributes to the operational and financial performance of the business. Additionally, in this role, experience of driving large Organization Development initiatives and capability building in an Operations function particularly Customer Support environment is preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the execution of the people strategy to deliver business results, as well as creating tailored solutions to meet the needs of the Operations division. The role will provide functional leadership and will also be responsible for leading large-scale change.

Areas of Accountability

  • Partner with stakeholders across the Group to reinforce and embed the LSEG values and culture
  • Actively seek out external research and insight on innovation that can help educate your customer group to inspire and spark creativity
  • Act as a change agent within the COO functions and across the People function, influencing and coaching leadership teams to reflect, evolve, transform, innovate and manage talent
  • Lead efforts to build a diverse and inclusive environment where D&I is a key strategic driver Understands the Group and divisional strategy and effectively partner with business leaders to design a talent approach that enable business growth
  • Design the right operating model and talent management activities for the Operations division to support delivering the business strategy
  • Use organizational health and business performance insight to design and execute action plans that contain appropriate levers (leadership, management practices, rewards, structure, organizational climate, etc.)
  • Interpret the business strategy to deliver the strategic workforce plans in collaboration with key stakeholders that are fit for purpose for both the shortand long-term.
  • Align people costs spend with strategic workforce plans Build and strengthen the talent pool through comprehensive talent management including succession planning, talent flow and career management, talent acquisition and onboarding
  • Use the Rewards and Incentives frameworks as an appropriate driver of organizational performance, working closely with the Reward CoE and Finance teams to ensure appropriate uses of various reward levers
  • Work closely with the business to instill a high performing culture. Effectively use metrics, analytics and tailored interventions to drive people performance
  • Work cross functionally to develop, deliver and promote central initiatives that drive the business success

Education and Capability Requirements

  • Extensive experience, including relevant experience working in a large, highly matrixed global organization
  • Undergraduate Business or HR degree is required. Master’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and drive change
  • Track record of designing and being accountable for the delivery of a global people strategy Experience working with large scale global Product organizations Experience with ability to influence senior business leaders Experience working in global, complex, matrix environments Experience actively managing health of an organization (engagement, culture, D&I etc.)
  • Ability to analyze and leverage data to help leaders make informed business decision
