We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented graduate to join our finance team with a focus on costing and financial analysis. This role provides a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the organization’s financial planning and performance tracking, supporting key decisions related to product costs, operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include collaborating with business units, assisting in cost allocation, analyzing product and operational costs, participating in ad hoc projects, providing data-driven insights, and supporting the preparation of financial models.
Must have:
  • Collaborate with business units to understand financial needs and performance drivers
  • Assist in cost allocation for budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Assist in analyzing and monitoring product and operational costs across business units
  • Participate in ad hoc projects such as cost optimization, financial modeling, or system improvements
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform pricing and operational decisions
  • Support the preparation of cost models, pricing scenarios, and margin analysis

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Self-starter attitude, with an eagerness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to interpret and communicate financial data to non-finance stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP or BI tools is a plus

Education and Experience Required

  • Have no more than 12 months of prior work experience professionally related to the Graduate Hire Requisition they are applying to, (not including internships, teaching assistance, research work, or military experience).
  • Will have completed at least your bachelor’s degree prior to your anticipated start date with HP.
  • Able to obtain work authorization in the United States without requiring sponsorship in the future.

Preferred Majors:

  • Preferred majors include (but are not limited to) Finance, Accounting, and Economics

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Basic analytical skills.
  • Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).

The pay range for this position is $56,880 to $85,320 annually (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
