As a Health & Risk Benefits Client Manager in London, you will manage and grow a portfolio of Healthcare and Protection clients, providing expert consulting and ongoing service. This hybrid role involves ensuring profitable revenue, developing strong client relationships, winning new business, and collaborating with internal teams to meet client expectations. You will also identify new business opportunities and ensure service delivery complies with Mercer standards and FCA regulations.
Must have:
  • Ensure that revenue from this portfolio is profitable and to expand business lines and service delivery where appropriate
  • Manage and develop strong client relationships and win new business.
  • Work pro-actively with internal teams to deliver client expectations in line with agreed client account plans
  • Identify business opportunities from client portfolio and your own network
  • Provide a service compliant with all procedures and Mercer Code of Professional Conduct and the FCA
  • Work with support team assigned to ensure the delivery of services to each client in line with Mercer standards

Job Details

We are seeking a Health & Risk Benefits Client Manager to join the team in our London office.

As a Client Manager you will develop and maintain a portfolio of Healthcare and Protection clients by providing quality consulting advice and ongoing service.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Ensure that revenue from this portfolio is profitable and to expand business lines and service delivery where appropriate
  • Manage and develop strong client relationships and win new business.
  • Work pro-actively with internal teams to deliver client expectations in line with agreed client account plans
  • Identify business opportunities from client portfolio and your own network
  • Provide a service compliant with all procedures and Mercer Code of Professional Conduct and the FCA
  • Work with support team assigned to ensure the delivery of services to each client in line with Mercer standards

What you need to have:

  • Financial and Commercial acumen (including fee negotiation skills)
  • Previous Health & Protection related experience
  • Proven consulting and relationship management skills
  • Good technical, product and process knowledge
  • Good inter-personal, communication and time management skills
