Job Description

At Cergy, you will contribute to some of the world's most sophisticated training and simulation systems, focusing on aerial, terrestrial, and naval domains. This internship within the Audio & Simulated Platform (ASP) department involves collaborating with flight loop experts and the certification referent. The primary goal is to industrialize the automatic adjustment of QTG, demonstrating the ability to solve technical challenges efficiently, meet certification requirements, and continuously improve validation processes.

  • Bac+5 education, general engineering school, with a specialization in software development / machine learning
  • Good written technical English
  • Knowledge in numerical methods, AI and machine learning

  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming and software design principles

Bac+5 education, general engineering school, with a specialization in software development / machine learning.

Knowledge in aeronautics or mechanics is a plus.

WHAT WE CAN ACCOMPLISH TOGETHER:

The internship will take place within the Audio & Simulated Platform (ASP) department, in collaboration with experts from the various sub-systems of the flight loop (flight model, engine, autopilot) as well as with the certification referent.

The main objective is to continue the work initiated on the automatic adjustment of QTGs, making it a solution ready to be industrialized. The intern will have to demonstrate their ability to understand technical challenges and solve them efficiently, while respecting certification requirements and contributing to the continuous improvement of validation processes.

The following missions are envisaged:

  • Analyze and understand certification tools:
  • Analyze the current state of existing certification tools and their operation, through documentation and hands-on experience with existing tools.
  • Identify the necessary evolutions to adapt the tool to a production environment and the needs of different stakeholders.
  • Improve test automation:
  • Refine and further automate the QTG automatic adjustment process, exploring advanced approaches such as numerical optimization or artificial intelligence.
  • Develop and implement new automation methods for certification tests.
  • Industrialization of the QTG automatic adjustment tool
  • Finalize the integration of the tool developed in the first internship.
  • Ensure that this tool can be used smoothly and efficiently.
  • Couple the certification tool with other test tools allowing use at the workstation.
  • Development and testing:
  • Specify the tests.
  • Perform integration and validation tests to demonstrate the performance of the industrialized solution.
  • Collaborate with flight loop specialists to demonstrate the conformity and effectiveness of the tool in a realistic simulation environment.
  • Documentation and validation:
  • Update technical documentation and procedures for handling and using the tool in the context of certifications.
