Job Description

As an operator in photolithography and chemical processes, you play a crucial role in PCB production. You ensure layers are correctly exposed, laminated, and provided with soldermask, meeting high quality standards. You work in a dust-free environment with specialized equipment, responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines. Your work directly impacts the reliability of our PCBs, ensuring compliance with quality standards like IPC-A 600. You will also perform interim checks, register deviations, and maintain the production area.

Must Have:
  • Performing photolithographic processes (laminating, exposing, developing, applying soldermask)
  • Operating and maintaining process lines (such as DES or development machines)
  • Performing interim checks and adjusting process parameters where necessary
  • Detecting and registering deviations, and discussing with quality colleagues or technical support
  • Performing minor maintenance and keeping the production area and machines clean
  • Ensuring correct handling of production resources (such as films and resist layers)
  • MBO work and preferably chemical/technical background
  • Perseverant, results-oriented, pragmatic, and a team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to initiate improvements and optimize work activities
  • Able to read technical product documentation and translate it to work level
  • Willing to work in shifts (with extra allowance and free during the day!)
  • Can read English (for technical documents)
  • Experience working in a high-tech production environment

About the team at

The ICCG-PCB (Industrial Competence Center Group Printed Circuits Boards) is the production facility for complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) within the Thales Group. Think of the highest quality, challenging designs, and customers all over the world.

The products are supplied worldwide within the Thales Group as well as to external customers. The ICCG-PCB consists of approximately 90 colleagues working in production, quality, logistics, engineering, and sales. We are currently in a Ramp-up phase and are looking for new talent to strengthen our team!

We are looking for an: Operator PCB Production – Photolithography Operator

About the position

As an operator within photolithography and chemical processes, you play a crucial role in the production of printed circuit boards. You ensure that the different layers are correctly exposed, laminated, and provided with soldermask, so that the end product meets the highest quality standards. You pay attention to detail and the progress of the processes.

You work in a dust-free environment with specialized equipment and have an important responsibility for correctly setting up, operating, and maintaining the machines. Through your efforts, our products continue to meet quality standards (such as IPC-A 600). Together with colleagues from production and quality, you monitor the process and consult when there is doubt or deviations. Your work directly influences the reliability of our printed circuit boards.

The main tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Performing photolithographic processes (laminating, exposing, developing, applying soldermask)
  • Operating and maintaining process lines (such as DES or development machines)
  • Performing interim checks and adjusting process parameters where necessary
  • Detecting and registering deviations, and discussing with quality colleagues (Quality control) or technical support
  • Performing minor maintenance and keeping the production area and machines clean
  • Ensuring correct handling of production resources (such as films and resist layers)

About you

  • MBO work and preferably a chemical/technical background
  • A perseverant, results-oriented, pragmatic, and a team player
  • Has good communication skills and is able to communicate well at multiple levels
  • Enjoys initiating improvements and thereby optimizing work activities
  • Able to read technical product documentation and translate it to the work level
  • Willing to work in shifts (with extra allowance and free during the day!)
  • You can read English (for technical documents)
  • Experience working in a high-tech production environment
  • An added bonus: you already know something about IPC standards
