This role is for a seasoned HR professional to act as a Senior Staff Specialist HR Business Partner in Tijuana, Mexico. The position involves developing strong relationships with leaders, providing strategic HR guidance, and leading complex problem-solving. Key responsibilities include collaborating on HR initiatives like talent management and succession planning, partnering on workforce planning, navigating policy and risk, leveraging people analytics, and managing multiple high-priority topics. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of HR experience, fluency in English, strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, business acumen, and knowledge of HR systems and employment law.

Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with leaders and managers to understand business needs and provide strategic HR guidance and support that enhance organizational performance and employee experience.
- Complex Problem Solving: Lead the resolution of high-impact, unprecedented HR challenges with a data-informed, systems-thinking approach.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with the company's overall strategy, such as talent management, succession planning, and diversity and inclusion
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, succession, development, and capability building to future-proof the organization.
- Policy & Risk Navigation: Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters with a clear understanding of employment law, compliance, and organizational values. Conduct investigations and resolve employee complaints and grievances in a fair and timely manner
- Leverage people analytics and insights to inform decisions, track progress, and proactively address emerging issues.
- Identify engagement drivers and implement targeted initiatives to foster a high-performing, inclusive culture.
- Operational Agility: Manage multiple high-priority topics simultaneously, ensuring executional excellence while maintaining strategic focus.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to develop and implement recruitment strategies that meet the needs of the business
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- 3+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on business partnering and strategic HR
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR initiatives that drive business outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative solutions to unprecedented problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders and managers
- Strong project management skills
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the company’s overall strategy and develop HR solutions that align with this strategy
- Experience with HR systems and technology, such as HRIS and performance management software
- Knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
- Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-priority topics simultaneously
- Ability to juggle competing demands and deadlines, and to manage multiple stakeholders with different needs and expectations
- Excellent judgment, integrity, and discretion
- Experience working in a global organization with a diverse workforce
