About the Brand 

We are currently seeking a Junior Specialist – VMD with experience in Vendor Master Data (VMD) to join our Vendor Master Data Team (FCC). In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying Business Partners (BPs) or vendors in both ECC and S4P systems.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about Vendor Master Data management and enjoy working with data analysis. If you're someone who loves to dive deeper into Vendor Data Analysis beyond your primary focus, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We are looking for a candidate with a background in Finance and Vendor Data Management, but we are also open to considering strong applicants with other relevant experience, particularly in invoice processing.

Role Responsibilities:

The Junior Specialist - VMD is primarily responsible for managing the vendor and author master data (business partners) process efficiently by reviewing, setting up, maintaining (new) Business partners (vendors/Authors) data records globally within Springer Nature. Vendor Master data includes name and address information, bank details, Tax information (VAT and withholding tax), social security information, etc. Review the vendor setup forms for completeness, duplications, and compliance, before setting up new business partners or changing existing business partners. Responsible for following up on missing information, resolving queries, and answering questions from internal and external contacts. Verify if duplicate business partners are created/requested, inform the stakeholders concerning, and provide management reports. Also responsible for maintaining the existing internal controls and compliance rules. 

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Proficient in English communication (Verbal and written) Minimum 3 years’ experience in VMD profile i. e. setting up and maintaining vendors, individuals with international bank details Experience with SAP (Preferable S4 Hana)       Good analytical skills
