Job Description

The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and fulfilling the company's commercial plan within their assigned zone (private and official schools) at preschool, primary, and secondary levels. This includes attending to and following up with user schools and prospects, as well as meeting the sales objectives set by the company. Key responsibilities involve executing client visit plans, understanding and applying the company's sales model, managing CRM data, inventorying samples, administering fixed funds, analyzing growth potential, and attending to booksellers and distributors.

Position Objective

Responsible for developing and fulfilling the company's commercial plan within their assigned zone (private and official schools) at preschool, primary and secondary levels, providing attention and follow-up to user schools, as well as prospects, in addition to meeting the sales objectives set by the company.

Functions and responsibilities:

  • Carry out and execute the client visit plan (schools) corresponding to the assigned zone, analyze sales opportunities in each institution and develop a strategy to cover these opportunities.
  • Responsible for knowing the company's objectives and commercial plan and fulfilling each of its phases (updating, prospecting, sampling and closing) in the assigned zone.
  • Know and apply the company's Sales Model and apply it to work with each institution, getting to interview decision makers in your market.
  • Carry out daily and weekly planning in the CRM tool, verify and update information at all times both in the CRM tool and in your Registration Sheets, daily capture the information collected during your visit with clients, capture adoptions from both the competition and the company in CRM (closing and updating phase) based on the lists collected.
  • Inventory samples and deliver the result to Sales Supervision and Management.
  • Properly manage your fixed fund and submit your expense report on the days indicated by Sales Management, prepare and submit car logbook to the Region's sales assistant.
  • Analyze the growth potential of your zone (horizontal/vertical), make sales projections taking into account adoptions to maintain, as well as new ones, identify key schools in your zone to work on a personalized strategic plan, analyze company results vs. competition (qualitative/quantitative), present season results by business line when required.
  • Attention to Booksellers and Distributors including presentation and training on new projects.

  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably within the editorial or pharmaceutical sector or service industries, ideal experience in Consultative sales.
