Job Description

Nekki, a game development studio known for titles like Shadow Fight Arena and Vector, is seeking a Monetization Game Designer for its projects, Shadow Fight 2 and Shades. The role involves enhancing monetization metrics while preserving other key game metrics. Responsibilities include optimizing existing live operations tools such as event systems and offerers, conceptualizing new tools and features, implementing and utilizing hypothesis testing for goal achievement, managing the live operations plan, and streamlining live operations processes. The designer will collaborate with producers and the analytics team to improve monetization tool performance based on data.
Good To Have:
  • Experience with midcore projects
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, Python)
  • Proficiency in data analysis using various tools and product analytics
  • Experience with in-app purchases in free-to-play games
Must Have:
  • Broad gaming horizons, including RPG mobile games
  • Habit of playing mobile games and expanding reference base
  • Critical thinking and experience in increasing project revenues
  • Self-awareness of strengths and weaknesses; willingness to leverage others' expertise
  • Experience working with AI

Currently, we are looking for Monetization Game Designer for our projects: Shadow Fight 2 and Shades.

 

Shadow Fight 2 is a nail-biting mix of Fighting and RPG genres. It gives you an opportunity to equip countless lethal weapons and armor, and features dozens of lifelike martial arts techniques! As the story progresses, you will face an army of unique enemies and defy hazardous bosses.

 

Shades is a RPG fighting game that continues the story of the legendary Shadow Fight 2. Get ready for the enhanced features of the original game that bring your experience to the next level. Fight more battles, see more locations, meet more friends, encounter new enemies, collect powerful Shades and explore the expanded Shadow Fight universe!

Responsibilities:

  • The main goal is to improve monetisation metrics while maintaining the rest of the game's key metrics;
  • Work on optimising existing liveops tools - event system, offerers, roulettes, marathons, etc. ;
  • Invent and describe new tools and features;
  • Build hypothesis testing processes and actively use them to achieve the main goal;
  • Manage the liveops plan;
  • Optimise liveops processes so that typical tasks take less time for the team;
  • Work in conjunction with the producer and analytics team to improve the performance of monetisation tools based on data

Requirements:

  • Broad gaming horizons, including RPG mobile games;
  • Habit of playing mobile games and constantly adding to your ref base;
  • Critical thinking and experience in increasing project revenues;
  • Understanding of your own weaknesses and strengths: willingness to use other people's expertise where your own is lacking;
  • Experience working with AI

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with midcore projects;
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (JS  Python);
  • Possession of methods of data analysis using various tools, product analytics;
  • Experience of donating to F2P games
