Job Description

As a Playtest Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of in-lab playtesting. This includes welcoming and chaperoning external participants, preparing test materials (hardware, software, and surveys), and facilitating playtesting sessions by providing instructions and answering questions. You will also collect and report feedback data, deliver results to customers, and ensure security policies are followed. The role involves collaborating with the playtest team and management, communicating updates, and improving methodologies. The candidate will also be responsible for creation, documentation, and supervision of internal procedures and best practices.
Must have:
  • Experience in organizing and conducting playtesting sessions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Passion for gaming and knowledge of game development.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

Coordonnateur·trice des playtests



En tant que Coordonnateur·trice des playtests, vous serez responsable d’organiser et de coordonner tous les aspects des tests en laboratoire, y compris l’accueil et l’accompagnement des participants externes, la préparation du matériel de test, l’animation des séances de jeu-test et la collecte ainsi que la transmission des données de rétroaction.

Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec nos clients afin de garantir que leurs jeux respectent les plus hauts standards de qualité et de jouabilité. Vous contribuerez également à l’amélioration continue des méthodologies et processus de test afin d’assurer une efficacité et une sécurité optimales.

Ce que vous ferez :


• Participer à l’organisation et à la coordination des séances de jeu-test en laboratoire avec des testeurs internes et externes
• Préparer le matériel de test, y compris l’installation du matériel informatique, des logiciels et des sondages
• Animer les séances de test, fournir les consignes et répondre aux questions
• Recueillir les données de rétroaction issues des séances de jeu-test
• Livrer les journaux, fichiers, vidéos et résultats de tests, selon les demandes des clients
• Assurer le suivi et faire rapport de l’avancement et des résultats des tests
• Améliorer continuellement les méthodologies et processus de jeu-test
• Veiller à l’application des politiques et normes de sécurité pour assurer la confidentialité des tests
• Offrir un service et des livrables de haute qualité, dans les délais impartis
• Collaborer avec l’équipe de jeu-test et la direction pour respecter les échéanciers
• Communiquer l’état d’avancement, les mises à jour et les problèmes aux partenaires, clients et gestionnaires
• Créer, documenter et superviser les procédures internes et les meilleures pratiques associées



Pour réussir dans ce poste :


• Expérience dans l’organisation et la conduite de séances de jeu-test (un atout)
• Solides compétences en analyse et en résolution de problèmes
• Excellentes aptitudes en communication écrite et verbale
• Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en équipe
• Grande attention aux détails et capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément
• Passion pour les jeux vidéo et bonne connaissance du processus de développement de jeux
• Familiarité avec les logiciels et outils de test de jeux
• Flexibilité pour travailler en dehors des heures normales au besoin — le travail en fin de semaine est à prévoir
• Excellentes habiletés de communication écrite et verbale, avec capacité à poser des questions ou transmettre l’information clairement et efficacement
• Être autonome et proactif·ive
• Maîtrise de l’anglais (obligatoire)
• Bonnes compétences techniques, notamment en matériel et logiciels PC (un atout)

Playtest Coordinator



As a Playtest Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of in-lab playtesting, including welcoming and chaperoning external participants, preparing test materials, facilitating playtesting sessions, and collecting and reporting feedback data.

You will work closely with our clients to ensure that their games meet the highest standards of quality and playability. Additionally, you will continuously improve playtesting methodologies and processes to ensure that we operate in the most secure and efficient manner. 


If you are passionate about gaming and have experience in organizing and conducting playtesting sessions, we encourage you to apply for the position.



What You Will Do:


•    Assist in organizing and coordinating in-lab playtesting sessions with internal and external testers
•    Prepare test materials, including setting up hardware, software, and surveys
•    Facilitate playtesting sessions, including providing instructions and answering questions
•    Collecting feedback data from playtesting sessions
•    Deliver logs, files, videos and playtesting results, as requested by customers 
•    Track and report on playtesting progress and results
•    Continuously improve playtesting methodologies and processes
•    Ensure security policies and standards are deployed to protect playtest confidentiality
•    Provide on-time high-quality service and deliverables
•    Collaborate with our Playtest team and management to ensure schedules are met
•    Communicate status, updates, and issues to partners, customers, and management
•    Creation, documentation, and supervision of internal procedures and best practices thereof



To Be Successful, You Will Have:


•    Experience in organizing and conducting playtesting sessions preferred 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•    Attention to detail and ability to multitask
•    Passion for gaming and knowledge of game development process
•    Familiarity with game testing software and tools
•    Flexibility to work non-standard hours when necessary, week end work is to be expected
•    Outstanding communication and writing skills, including ability to ask questions or share information with clarity and brevity.
•    Be a motivated self-starter
•    Fluency in English is mandatory
•    Technical acumen a strong asset, especially for PC hardware and software
