YOUR ROLE
As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as a liaison between the Client and the plant, ensuring that the parts produced meet the client's requirements, taking prompt and effective action when non-conforming products are reported by the client.
In your daily job, you will:
- Communicates plant quality objectives and ensures compliance metrics.
- Defines and implements actions to improve the plant's quality performance.
- Coordinates the multidisciplinary team for root cause analysis for all non-conformities or process failures.
- Coordinates the development of Control Plans and keeps them updated.
- Evaluates and ensures the implementation of corrective actions for non-conformities within the established timeframe.
- Monitors the application of client and quality policies and procedures in the production area.
- Controls financial expenses based on forecasts (drafts and rework).
- Analyzes defect information at different stages of the process and designs containment and corrective actions necessary to avoid impacting the client.
- Participates in the development of PFMEAS
- Implementation and monitoring of Quality Gates
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
- 3+ years’ experience in the Quality area
- Proficient English level
- Information analysis for decision-making.
- Automotive Industry Standards, CSR and Special Processes (CQIs)
- Core tools experience, CQI’s and IATF / VDA audits
- Problem-solving tools & statistical analysis
