Skydance Animation is seeking a Senior Rigger to develop, implement, maintain, and support character and prop deformation rigs for use in Crowds, Layout, and Animation. The role involves working closely with the Rigging Supervisor and various departments including R&D, Art, Modelling, and Layout. Responsibilities include developing procedural rig components with a focus on deformation, creating complex production-ready rig deformations, and assisting animators with a broad range of motion. The Senior Rigger will also be responsible for troubleshooting rig issues, collecting artistic feedback, and adhering to pipeline and rigging standards. Additionally, the role requires prototyping new techniques to solve production challenges and supporting team members.
