Job Description

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and acquiring new customers in the access/metro area. They will build and maintain sustainable customer relationships, analyze customer needs, and develop tailored solutions in collaboration with the technical team. The role involves conducting technical introductory discussions, product presentations, managing tenders and offers, participating in trade shows and networking events, and analyzing the market and competition to identify new business opportunities. Regular reporting to management and collaboration with the DACH team are also essential. The Sales Account Manager will also control the operational sales process from planning to reporting and meet sales and business goals.
Must have:
  • Technical or business administration degree or comparable training.
  • Several years of experience in technical sales, preferably in telecommunications.
  • Strong technical understanding – ideally in telecommunications / network technology.
  • Customer-oriented mindset and enjoy proactive and targeted interaction with customers.
  • Independent, results-oriented way of working, sense of responsibility, and teamwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation, communication, and sales skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce or alternative CRM platforms.
  • Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
  • Willingness to travel.

Wir suchen einen hoch motivierten Sales Account Manager (m/w/d) zur Verstärkung unseres Adtran Sales Teams in München, Berlin oder Meiningen.

Dein Fokus liegt auf der Positionierung modernen Adtran Access-Technologien wie xPON, G.Fast und Faserüberwachungslösung (ALM/DPA), mit denen wir Netzbetreiber und Infrastrukturanbieter dabei unterstützen, leistungsfähige und skalierbare Netze aufzubauen.

Das wären Deine Aufgaben:

  • Eigenverantwortliche Identifikation, Ansprache und Gewinnung von Neukunden im Bereich Access/Metro.

  • Aufbau und Pflege von nachhaltigen Kundenbeziehungen

  • Analyse von Kundenbedarfen und Entwicklung maßgeschneiderter Lösungsangebote in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Technikteam.

  • Durchführung von technischen Einführungsgesprächen und Produktpräsentationen

  • Kommerzielle Bearbeitung von Ausschreibungen und Angebotsprozessen

  • Teilnahme an Messen, Branchenevents und Networking-Veranstaltungen

  • Markt- und Wettbewerbsanalyse zur Identifikation neuer Geschäftschancen

  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem DACH-Team sowie regelmäßiges Reporting an das Management

  • Kontrolle des operativen Sales-Prozesses von der Planung und bis zum Reporting

  • Erfüllung der für die Region gesteckten Umsatz- und Geschäftsziele

Das bringst Du mit:

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im technischen oder betriebswirtschaftlichen Bereich oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung im technischen Vertrieb, idealerweise im Bereich Telekommunikation, Netzwerktechnik oder ähnlichen Infrastrukturbereichen

  • Fundiertes technisches Verständnis – idealerweise im Bereich Telekommunikation / Netzwerktechnik

  • Du lebst kundenorientierte Denkweise und Freude am proaktiven und zielgerichteten Umgang mit unseren Kunden.

  • Selbstständige, ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise, Verantwortungsbewusstsein sowie Teamfähigkeit.

  • Ausgezeichnete zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten sowie Präsentations-, Kommunikations- und Verkaufsfähigkeiten.

  • Grundkenntnisse in Salesforce oder in alternativen CRM-Plattformen

  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

  • Bereitschaft zu reisen
