Job Description

As a Sales Intern, you will support Sales activities such as price tracking, system updates, and assisting the Key Account Manager on daily tasks for key customers. This year-round internship offers full-time or part-time hours, adapting to your class schedule. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the competitiveness and compliance of Valeo offers, driving negotiation during business acquisition, and handling operational responsibilities like price negotiation and managing customer relationships.
Must Have:
  • Support Sales activities including price tracking and system updates.
  • Support the Key Account Manager on daily activities for key customers.
  • Ensure competitiveness and full-compliance of Valeo offers with customer expectations.
  • Identify and understand customer requirements for projects.
  • Determine sales price objectives based on market and competitor knowledge.
  • Implement pricing strategy in the Contract Approval Application (CAA).
  • Initiate and conduct actions to submit competitive quotations within time limits.
  • Participate in project teams to explain and defend the customer’s viewpoint.
  • Teach customers about new technologies/products/solutions to ensure attractive offers.
  • Align and tailor customer messages with the Project Management team.
  • Deliver commercial insights during business acquisition.
  • Guide customers to recommended actions by discussing alternatives and reinforcing value.
  • Keep PG organization informed of negotiation and competition status.
  • Operate at a regional level.
  • Negotiate prices for modifications (technical, volumes, raw material, inflation).
  • Build and negotiate productivity plans.
  • Liaise with Sales Administration to ensure price updates.
  • Manage customer relationships in case of claims and logistic/quality crises.
  • Monitor and take necessary actions to reduce overdues.
  • Meet KAM Key Performance Indicators: Order Intake, Turnover, Market Shares, Price Management (SPI), Overdues.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Recent graduate (April/May 2025) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.

About the Role:

As a Sales Intern, you will support Sales activities such as price tracking, system updates, and supporting the Key Account Manager on daily activities for key customers.

We are seeking local intern who can start with us as soon as possible on a full-time or part-time basis, year-round pending class schedule. hen a reduced schedule throughout the school year pending class schedule.

Responsibilities Also Include:

Assist with ensuring the competitiveness and full-compliance of Valeo offers with the expectations and requirements of the Customer:

  • Ensure that the customers’ requirements are all identified and well understood by the project teams.
  • Determine the sales price objectives according to his knowledge of the market and competitors position.
  • Implement the pricing strategy in the CAA (contract approval application).
  • Initiate and conduct all possible actions in order to be able to submit, within the time limits, a competitive quotation technically and economically.
  • Participate in project teams in order to explain and defend the customer’s viewpoint in terms of quality, costs, delivery times and in order to satisfy their requirements.
  • Teach the customer about new technologies/products/views/approaches/solutions to ensure attractive offers
  • Align and tailor the customer message with the Project Management team

Assist with driving the negotiation during business acquisition process:

  • Deliver commercial insights
  • Take control in guiding the customer to a recommended action by discussing alternatives and reinforcing the value of making a change
  • Keep PG organization informed of the negotiation and competition’s status on all global aspects of the offer

Assist with Operational Responsibilities

  • Operate at regional level
  • Negotiating prices in case of modification (technical, volumes, raw material and inflation) and any market effect
  • Build and negotiate the productivity plans
  • Liaise with Sales Administration to ensure price update
  • Manage the relationship with the customer in case of claims and logistic/quality crisis
  • Monitor and take the necessary actions to reduce overdues
  • KAM Key Performance Indicators: Order Intake, Turnover, Market Shares, Price Management (SPI), Overdues

What You Should Have:

  • You are currently enrolled in a program working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field OR recent graduate (April/May 2025)
