Job Description

Saatchi & Saatchi, a global creative agency, is seeking a Senior Manager - Content to drive marketing strategy through creative and innovative implementation. This role involves overseeing marketing campaigns across all channels, managing creative and social media operations, and collaborating with various streams like Data Science, CRM, and Media. The manager will be responsible for content creation, ensuring brand consistency, managing budgets, and leading complex launch strategies, while also supervising social content calendars and community management.
Must Have:
  • Deliver on marketing strategy through creative and innovative implementation.
  • Oversee delivery and activation of marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Manage operations of Creative & Social marketing streams.
  • Support communications content across Data Science, CRM, Experience Design & Media streams.
  • Research, coordinate, edit, and integrate work from writers and designers.
  • Act as a creative gatekeeper for brand's social platforms.
  • Manage budgets and dynamically shift for best business outcomes.
  • Manage complex launch strategies across markets and target groups.
  • Lead day-to-day creative stream, including seasonal campaigns and performance optimization.
  • Conduct market analysis for growth opportunities.
  • Manage integrated creative team, including brainstorming, copywriting monitoring, and visual cues.
  • Project and Traffic manage campaigns for timely delivery.
  • Supervise social content calendars and platform management.
  • Understand community management and crisis management intricacies.
  • Utilize social listening tools to analyze sentiments and drive positive change.

Overview

  • Accountable to deliver on the marketing strategy that has been put in place through creative & innovative implementation.
  • Oversee the delivery and the activation of all marketing campaigns across all set channels.
  • Manage the operations of the core pillars of the marketing stream which include Creative & Social.
  • Work closely with the Business Director and the rest of the streams (Data Science, CRM, Experience Design & Media) to support the through the content for all communications.
  • Researches, coordinates, edits and integrates work from writers and designers to produce layouts that meet established branding and style guidelines from existing campaigns. sources, selects and creates targeted content.

Responsibilities

Technical & Product

  • Overall, the Social Media Manager is acting as a creative gatekeeper on all the brand's social platforms.
  • Overseeing the brand being communicated accurately through the social content
  • Has a POV on the media omnichannel management along with a media team driving a 360 experience, digital, offline, on ground.
  • Ability to manage budgets and dynamically shift for best business outcomes
  • Manage a complex launch strategy across markets, across target groups, and across campaign objectives (awareness, consideration, conversion, retention…).
  • Creative: Lead the day-to-day on the creative stream along with content by:
  • Managing seasonal campaigns are aligned with the overall brand narrative/storytelling.
  • Optimizing brand & performance marketing creative based on learnings and performance.
  • Conducting market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Managing the integrated creative team and working as an hybrid creative manager who able to:
  • Research, brainstorm, Ideate on concept with the creatives
  • Monitor the copywriting to ensure it is as per the brand tone of voice
  • Provide Visual Cues (at times) to the Client’s brief to the creative team
  • Project Mgmt and Traffic Mgmt the day to day to ensure campaigns are delivered on time
  • Work closely with the social exec on the publishing & community management to ensure delivery of creative/content is in line with consumer sentiment.
  • Social: Supervise the Content exec and work closely to manage and drive conversation around:
  • Social content calendars development and management
  • Social platforms management to fit set strategy
  • Cross social platform messaging with tone of voice and purpose taken into consideration
  • Community management understanding and the intricacies of crisis management
  • Social listening tools and ability to analyze sentiments and drive positive change
