Job Description

This role offers an opportunity to join MiQ, a leading Independent Marketing Intelligence Company, as an SEO/SEM Specialist. You will be responsible for setting up and executing Search campaigns across multiple global regions, supporting the growth of Chinese brands worldwide, and actively shaping MiQ's global SEM/SEO offering. The role involves developing and optimizing SEO/SEM strategies, managing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, conducting keyword research, monitoring campaign performance, and fostering client relationships.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance.
  • Ensure thorough floodlight tracking and set-up in CM360.
  • Own end-to-end campaign performance monitoring and optimization.
  • Deliver on-target margin and grow client spends.
  • Collaborate with AM team in China and DnA team in Bangalore.
  • Adhere to campaign activation best practices and troubleshoot issues.
  • Lead external meetings, deliver insights, and answer client questions.
  • Oversee digital asset health and collaborate with developers for SEO.
  • Be a subject-matter expert in SEO/SEM set-up and performance.
  • Manage lead generation and email marketing campaigns.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SA360, Google Ads, Bing Ads platforms.
  • Proven track record of delivering results at scale for PPC activity.
  • In-depth understanding of CM360, SA360, Bing Ads, Google Ads for setup and optimization.
  • Good understanding of tracking setup process, options & troubleshooting via CM360 & GA4.
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic & wider digital ecosystem in NA, EMEA and APAC.
  • Proficient with hands-on implementation experience with SEO/SEM consoles and third-party tools, such as GA4, Google Ads.
  • Strong understanding of digital and performance marketing, programmatic advertising and display networks, and relevant data analytics.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms and best practices in web and mobile SEO.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability.

The role encompasses ability to set-up and successfully execute Search campaigns across multiple MiQ regions, including North America, LATAM, EMEA, MENAT and APAC. As such, you would be involved in and supporting the growth of Chinese brands across the whole world. You will also play an active role in shaping the development & growth of this newly established MiQ SEM/SEO offering world-wide.

JOB RESPONSIBILITITES

Your main responsibilities will include:

Campaign Set-up & Execution

  • Develop, execute, and optimize comprehensive SEO/ SEM strategies that align with the business and brand’s goals, ensuring improved website rankings and higher visibility in organic search results
  • Manage and implement on-page, off-page and technical SEO
  • Conduct detailed keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities and inform content strategies, ensure content copy optimization, and achieve competitive positioning.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance success (or issues – with action plan), covering key metrics and KPIs, suchs as website traffic, rankings, click-through rates, conversions, and return on ad spend (ROAS), complete with data and insights presentation and actionable plans
  • Thorough and issue-free floodlight tracking & other set-up carried out in CM360
  • End to end campaign ownership and performance monitoring – including & especially campaign set-up & optimisation
  • Use insights to build client rapport to up-sell and earn incremental opportunity

Portfolio Management

  • Deliver on-target margin whilst retaining & growing client spends
  • Balance portfolio growth objectives with margin/profitability objectives across a variety of campaign types
  • Grow campaign portfolio revenue via surpassing client KPIs, supporting custom insights and building client relationships
  • Use data, analysis, and optimisation expertise to deliver campaign ahead of pace and maintain performance

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with the AM team in China and DnA team in Bangalore on custom insights planning & production
  • Work with various Central and local (China) departments to aid in any of the following:
  • Campaign Process – uphold and follow China International processes
  • Pre-campaign qualification support – including support on Media Plans
  • Best-practices – adhere to and uphold campaign activation best practices
  • Troubleshooting – work on own initiative to identify and resolve campaign issues

External Communication

  • Attend/participate/lead in external meetings - deliver insight pieces and answering client questions as part of Q&A
  • Ownership of weekly reporting for clients – including direct collaboration including face-to-face. Emphasis on delivering value for clients via focus on actionable insights
  • Being able to clearly & accurately relay the role & interplay between various digital channels (i.e. the role of Search vs Display vs Social, etc)
  • Oversee the health of our digital assets and collaborate with developers to identify and fix any technical issues and ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented

Innovation

  • Subject-matter expert internally and externally with regards to SEO/SEM set-up, performance & overall contribution to campaign funnel/user journey/campaign performance
  • Manage lead generation and email marketing campaigns, which include optimize landing pages to drive conversions and improve the user experience.
  • Regularly use campaigns to test and implement innovative ideas – driving more scale or superior results (or both)
  • Maintain and evolve MiQ trading/operational processes and best practices
  • Motivated by learning opportunities and is inquisitive
  • Own & deliver improvement recommendations on SEM/SEO offering with a view to growing client spend & satisfaction over time

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with hands-on set-up & optimisation across SA360, Google Ads & Bing Ads platforms
  • Proven track record of delivering results at scale for PPC activity
  • In-depth understanding of set-up (CM360, SA360, Bing Ads & Google Ads) and optimisation (SA360, Google Ads, Bing Ads)
  • Experience with SA360, Bing Ads is a must.
  • Good understanding of tracking set-up process, options & troubleshooting via CM360 & GA4
  • Good understanding of the programmatic & wider digital ecosystem in NA, EMEA and APAC – with a focus on the roles of Search & Display in that
  • Experience working in client-facing environment would be an advantage
  • Experience with Mobile Performance campaigns is a bonus

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proven relevant qualifications and minimum 3 years of experience in similar SEO/SEM role with a strong track record of managing PPC budgets, improving rankings and driving paid search campaigns
  • Proficient with hands-on implementation experience with SEO/ SEM consoles and third-party tools, such as GA4, Google Ads
  • Strong understanding of digital and performance marketing, programmatic advertising and display networks, and relevant data analytics
  • Fluent English & Mandarin are essential. Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mentality
  • Skilled in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for SEO purposes would be a bonus
  • Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms and best practices in web and mobile SEO
  • Strong troubleshooting ability, clear systematic approach to problem solving
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to work both independently and contribute within a team environment
