Job Description

As a Strategic Relationship Manager at Sabre, you will manage key relationships with global travel agencies, offering them advanced payment solutions. Your role involves establishing and maintaining profitable relationships, partnering with internal Sabre teams, and delivering strong performance against revenue targets. You will also provide insights into Sabre Virtual Payments and analyze competitor positioning, ensuring seamless and efficient travel payment experiences for customers.
Good To Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • Multilingual capabilities: English required; Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese are a plus.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: acquiring, FX (foreign exchange), fraud prevention, and chargeback management.
Must Have:
  • Proven Relationship Management experience with a strong track record of achievement.
  • Deep understanding of the travel payments industry.
  • Good grasp of the travel industry and GDS dynamics.
  • Experience working with online, leisure, and business travel agencies.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with strong qualitative and quantitative skills.
  • Strong consulting, project, and program management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with comfort engaging C-level clients and internal leadership.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Willingness to travel globally on short notice.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.
  • Energetic, collaborative, open-minded personality with a good sense of humor.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Strategic Relationship Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with the biggest and most important travel agencies around the world—offering them one of the best payment solutions in the travel industry and making them feel that travel payments are easy, seamless, efficient, and beneficial.

What will you achieve?

  • Establish and maintain mutually beneficial and profitable relationships with existing customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders, resulting in strong customer growth rates and negligible customer attrition.
  • Partner with the Sabre Virtual Payments team—including Commercial, Implementations, Partnerships, Business Finance, Product, the wider Sabre Global Distribution System sales teams, and account managers.
  • Deliver strong performance in line with agreed revenue and spend targets, and the overall SVP strategy. This includes the ability to provide management with clear reporting on results and activity. Ensure all activity is captured in the SVP CRM tool.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of all business development activities, including internal reporting, external presentations, contractual deliverables, and client success criteria.
  • Provide feedback and insights into Sabre Virtual Payments. Identify competitors and provide analysis on their positioning in the markets we operate in.
