Job Description

As a System Engineer at Thales, you will be responsible for analyzing customer needs, formalizing specifications and architecture to propose optimal solutions, and preparing and executing integration, verification, and validation tests. You will define test plans, ensure technical integration and system consistency, design the command and control system architecture, and demonstrate solutions to clients.
Must Have:
  • Analyze and understand customer needs through advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes.
  • Formalize specifications and architecture to propose the best solution or product to customers.
  • Prepare and perform integration, verification, and validation tests.
  • Define test plans and procedures for system-level tests.
  • Ensure technical integration and consistency of system design, interfaces, and performance.
  • Design the command and control system architecture.
  • Demonstrate the solution to the customer.
  • Master's degree (BAC +5) from an Engineering school or university in computer science.
  • At least 10 years of experience in software and/or hardware, systems engineering, and IVVQ activities.
  • Familiarity with management and engineering tools such as DOORS, Polarion, TFS, JIRA.
  • Team spirit and collaborative work.

Your daily life

The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radio communications, resilient network and infrastructure systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is easily accessible by public transport.

As a System Engineer at Thales, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and understanding customer needs through advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes...
  • Formalizing specifications and architecture used to propose the best solution or product to your customers
  • Preparing and performing integration, verification, and validation tests
  • Defining test plans and procedures for system-level tests
  • Ensuring technical integration and consistency of system design, interfaces, and performance
  • Designing the command and control system architecture
  • Demonstrating the solution to the customer

You hold a Master 2 (BAC +5) degree from an Engineering school or a university degree in computer science.

You have at least 10 years of experience in software and/or hardware, systems engineering, and IVVQ activities.

You are familiar with management and engineering tools such as DOORS, Polarion, TFS, JIRA.

You have a team spirit and enjoy collaborative work.
