Job Description

As a Campus Recruiter at Thales, you will manage the full recruitment cycle for around 150 interns and graduates annually. This involves drafting and posting vacancies, selecting candidates, and supporting contracts. You will also develop and coordinate recruitment events, build relationships with educational institutions, and ensure Thales' visibility at career fairs and lectures. The role combines operational excellence with strategic insight, acting as a key contact for students and managers regarding internships and processes.
Must Have:
  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience in recruitment, campus recruitment, or a similar role.
  • Combine strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Feel at home in student environments and understand the dynamics of student and study associations.
  • Strong communicator, entrepreneurial, and have strong organization skills.
  • Enjoy balancing creative event work with accurate administrative processes.
  • Thrive both independently and in a team.
  • Talent for stakeholder management.

About the team

At Thales, our Talent Acquisition team is part of HR and responsible for recruitment, employer branding, and campus recruitment. We are a collaborative and energetic group that combines professionalism with a good dose of fun.

About your future role

Every year, Thales welcomes around 150 interns and graduates (MBO/HBO/WO). As a Campus Recruiter at Thales you will be at the heart of this process. You won’t just handle the recruitment cycle – from drafting and posting internship vacancies to selecting candidates and supporting the contract process – but also play a key role in shaping our campus recruitment strategy.

You will develop and coordinate a recruitment event calendar, build lasting relationships with universities, applied sciences institutions, and student associations, and ensure Thales is visible at career fairs, lunch lectures, and student excursions. Sponsorship agreements, guest lectures, and onboarding days for new students will also be part of your work.

In this role, you combine operational excellence with strategic insight. You understand the talent needs of the business, map opportunities, and translate them into impactful initiatives that strengthen Thales’ position as an employer of choice. At the same time, you act as the go-to person for students and managers, answering questions about internships, onboarding and offboarding, and supporting them with the right processes and tools.
