2D / AI Artist (Outsource)

Joyteractive, a leading mobile game developer specializing in puzzle games, is seeking a skilled 2D / AI Artist (Outsource) to join their 80+ professional team. The role involves creating 2D illustrations and textures for 3D objects, adapting artworks, and collaborating with the lead artist. The artist will utilize AI tools like MidJourney and Stable Diffusion to enhance content production for puzzle and casual games on iOS and Android platforms.

Must Have

• Create 2D illustrations and textures for 3D objects
• Adapt and prepare artworks to be applied on 3D models
• Deliver content in small daily batches
• Collaborate with the lead artist to match style and vision
• Use AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, ChatGPT) to speed up content production
• Work with task trackers (Trello/Asana)
• 2+ years of experience as a 2D Artist/Illustrator in game development
• Strong portfolio with relevant 2D illustrations
• Excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
• Ability to balance quality and speed
• Basic understanding of how 2D content integrates with 3D models
• Responsibility and ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Experience with AI-assisted content generation
• Familiarity with casual/puzzle art style
• Strong knowledge of art asset technical preparation and optimization

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience as a 2D Artist/Illustrator in game development.
