Must Have
- Creating high-quality concept art, character designs, backgrounds, UI elements, and in-game assets that align with the game's artistic style and enhance the overall visual experience.
- Designing and illustrating 2D characters, props, environments, and visual effects.
- Creating concept art to guide 3D artists and animators.
- Developing polished in-game assets such as sprites, backgrounds, and tilesets.
- Ensuring models are game-ready, optimized for performance, and meet technical requirements.
- Creating UI/UX elements including buttons, icons, menus, and HUDs.
- Working within the art direction and adapting to different styles as needed.
- Collaborating with designers and developers to integrate assets seamlessly into the game.
- Making iterative changes based on team feedback and gameplay testing.
- Ensuring assets are properly optimized for performance across platforms.
- Strong illustration and digital painting skills with a keen eye for color, shape, and composition.
- Proficiency in software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint, or Procreate.
- Ability to create art in various styles (realistic, stylized, cartoon, pixel, etc.).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A well-organized portfolio showcasing 2D game art and concept work.
Good to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Game Art, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred).
- Understanding of animation basics and sprite sheet creation (optional but beneficial).
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
