Job Description

Studio Image Works is seeking a 3D Generalist with experience in product videos to create high-quality art assets. The role involves working across the art pipeline, with a focus on modeling, texturing, and asset implementation using Unity or Unreal Engine. Responsibilities include creating and implementing assets, contributing to the design and visual direction of product videos, modifying assets, and helping develop the art pipeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics and be able to break down asset concepts into executable components. The role demands collaboration with the team and a good understanding of game engine integration and asset optimization. Experience with rigging and animation is also a plus.
Good To Have:

  • Basic knowledge of Unity’s and Unreal Engine’s animation systems
Must Have:

About the Role

Studio Image Works looking for a 3D Generalist with product video experience to create quality art assets.



Responsibility

As a Generalist, you should be comfortable with working on any part of the art pipeline, but especially strong with modelling, texturing, and asset implementation with Unity/Unreal Engine. You should have a keen eye for style and an interest in a diverse range of 3D aesthetics. We are looking for someone able to take asset concepts and break them down into their executable components across the pipeline.




Requirements


Create high-quality 3D art assets in collaboration with the team
Stage and implement assets in the game engine in collaboration with a developer
Contribute to the overall design and visual direction of the product video
Clean up and modify assets as needed
Contribute to the development of the art pipeline as team grows
Experience in implementing art assets with any game engine, with knowledge of best practices
A keen eye for aesthetics and style
Strong knowledge of at least one 3D suite (Maya LT, Blender)
Asset Integration into Game engine (Unity3d / Unreal)
Strong knowledge of Photoshop/Substance Suite.
Some experience with rigging and animation
knowledge of asset optimization
Knowledge of PBR material pipelines (e.g. Substance)
Knowledge of level and game design fundamentals
Basic knowledge of Unity’s and Unreal Engine’s animation systems
Ability to use Unreal engine / Unity-based tools like ProBuilder or any other device for grey boxing
A strong and diverse portfolio with demonstrable modelling and texturing abilities for video games
