Job Summary
Powtoon is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join its growing Enterprise / Mid-market practice in central London. The role involves driving new business through proactive prospecting, conducting insightful discovery conversations, developing proposals, and negotiating deals. The ideal candidate is a hunter with a strong track record in B2B enterprise sales, adept at consultative selling, and passionate about helping customers solve problems. This position is crucial for boosting sales and contributing to Powtoon's long-term business growth.
Must Have
- Research organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
- Drive new business through proactive prospecting, independently and with an SDR
- Conduct insightful discovery conversations to align Powtoon's value to measurable outcomes
- Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Develop quotes and proposals
- Negotiate and renegotiate by phone, email, and in person
- Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Meet and exceed sales quota
- Love being in front of customers and helping solve problems
- A true hunter with a track record of success in highly competitive markets
- Comfortable collaborating with an SDR but equally motivated to self-source leads
- Master of consultative selling, value articulation, and storytelling
- Listener-first mindset with the ability to challenge, inspire, and help buyers reimagine their future with Powtoon
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in an online software/tech company
- Substantial experience in B2B, outbound, Enterprise, C-level sales
- Experience working with US enterprise C-level clients
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and/or LeadIQ
- Native English speaker
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Good to Have
- Prior experience selling into enterprise L&D or HR teams
- Ability to analyze spreadsheets and charts
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant experience
- Familiarity with the Powtoon visual communication platform

The Account Executive responsibilities include:
- Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
- Drive new business through proactive prospecting—both independently and alongside an SDR
- Conduct insightful discovery conversations that uncover company-wide pain and align Powtoon's value to measurable outcomes
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Developing quotes and proposals
- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Meet and exceed quota—because you’re obsessed with it

- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in an online software/tech company- MUST
