Job Summary

The Account Executive serves as the primary contact for GSA accounts, responsible for managing customer relationships, addressing queries, providing advice, and introducing new products to achieve sales targets. This role involves overseeing account management for efficiency and profit, developing trusted advisor relationships, and ensuring timely product delivery. The individual will analyze sales progress, identify new business opportunities, prepare reports, and proactively pursue leads, collaborating with the Marketing Team on new initiatives.

Must Have

  • Be the lead point of contact for GSA accounts
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Oversee customer account management to maximize profit
  • Ensure timely delivery of products according to customer needs
  • Analyse sales progress monthly and implement reactive approaches
  • Develop business with new and existing clients to meet sales quotas
  • Prepare weekly reports on GSA account status
  • Proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new leads
  • Pitch broad range of products
  • Research organisations & individuals online for new leads
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives with Marketing Team
  • Attend industry events where relevant
  • Adhere to company values and confidential information policy
  • Ensure continual contact with clients about new product developments
  • Strong negotiation skills by phone, email and in person
  • Process orders, deal with damages and short / over shipments
  • Some experience in a sales role for another company
  • Self-motivated and organised individual
  • Track record of achieving KPIs and target
  • Ability to work on own initiative and think outside the box
  • Pro-active and timely delivery of tasks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 packages
  • Excellent customer service, engagement, and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a ‘team player’ ethic as well as working independently
  • Fluency in German and English essential

  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems (MS Dynamics NAV)

WORKING PATTERN: Mon - Fri (40 hours)

REPORTS TO: Sales Director, GSA

Role Purpose

The Account Executive is the key point of contact between our customers: you will be responsible for answering queries, offering advice and introducing new products to the assigned region working towards a specific target.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the lead point of contact for GSA accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Oversee customer account management to ensure efficiency and maximize profit.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with accounts.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Analyse sales progress on monthly basis implementing sales-driven reactive approaches where applicable.
  • Develop business with new and existing clients and / or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
  • Prepare weekly reports on GSA account status.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new leads.
  • Pitch broad range of products.
  • Research organisations & individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential for GSA market.
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives with Marketing Team.
  • Attend industry events where relevant.
  • Adhere to company values and confidential information policy.
  • Ensure continual contact with clients to inform them about new product developments.
  • Strong negotiation skills by phone, email and in person.
