Job Description

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager, preferably with clinical experience in Radiology and Medical Imaging, to join Philips' Imaging sales team in VIC West and Tasmania. Based in Melbourne, you will develop and manage business strategies to achieve profitable relationships across the Imaging Systems portfolio (MRI, CT, X-Ray). The role involves building high-level business relationships, understanding market trends, negotiating sales, submitting tenders, and coordinating product demonstrations and support.
Good To Have:
  • Clinical experience in Radiology and Medical Imaging
  • Experienced Radiographer seeking to build on clinical expertise and gain commercial experience
Must Have:
  • Develop and manage business strategies for profitable relationships
  • Manage the Imaging Systems portfolio (MRI, CT, X-Ray)
  • Build high-level business relationships both internally and externally
  • Be aware of current and future market trends
  • Execute a planned approach to maximizing sales volumes and margins
  • Ensure broad understanding of Philips products

  • Ability to analyze and manipulate complex data and build territory plans
  • Exceptional interpersonal and cross-functional stakeholder experience
  • Ability to influence at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Your Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Account Manager, preferably with clinical experience in Radiology and Medical Imaging to join our high performing Imaging sales team managing VIC West and Tasmania. This role is Melbourne based.

You will be instrumental in developing and managing numerous business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships across our Imaging Systems portfolio, consisting of market leading medical imaging technology and solutions (MRI, CT, X-Ray). Your Capital Equipment / Medical Device sales experience coupled with your clinical expertise in Radiology and ability to influence at all levels within the Hospital network will be key to your success in the role.

Every day will offer new and exciting challenges, selling some of the Healthcare Industry's most innovative medical Equipment. You will be required to build high level business relationships both internally and externally, constantly being aware of current and future market trends with respect to customer and overall industry, and execute a planned approach to maximizing sales volumes and margins. This will include; ensuring a broad understanding of Philips products, negotiating sales and terms, submitting tenders and maintaining an accurate and relevant sales funnel for all sales leads within the territory. You will also have overall responsibility for the coordination of; product demonstrations, efficient product delivery and ongoing clinical and technical support.

Your Team

You will be working as part of a highly experienced team of Account Managers, all with a shared goal of delivering top quality service to customers. More broadly, you will be part of the Philips Healthcare team and have daily interactions with stakeholders from across the business such as Clinical Applications Specialists, Engineers and Product Managers.

You're the right fit if:

  • Previous experience within Medical Imaging would be highly regarded or you are an experienced Radiographer seeking to build on your clinical expertise and gain commercial experience.
  • Experience in Capital Equipment / Medical Device solution selling experience, within a hospital environment.
  • Experience in selling at all levels within the hospital system and confident in your ability to manage long sales cycles.
  • You will bring a solid understanding of the sales processes with the ability and drive to maintain and grow market share.
  • You are confident in analyzing and manipulating complex data and building territory plans.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and cross functional stakeholder experience with the ability to influence at all levels within business.
  • The ability to work under pressure, as well as managing conflicting priorities.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
