General Summary:

Qualcomm is recruiting an Account Manager to Business development team in Japan focusing on Industrial IoT business. The position is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join at a moment where the business is taking off, allowing to take responsibility for a number of accounts with the channel partners. Responsibilities include supply chain for major business growth, getting engaged in legal and business frameworks and developing a broad understanding of Qualcomm’s portfolio for Industrial IoT technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of whole IoT industry in Japan and it’s trend.
  • Understanding of IoT business industry requirement, development cycle and business decision criteria.
  • Relation and contact with key players in IoT customer and partners.
  • Sales/business development: Identify, develop, expand, and sustain Qualcomm IoT business through demand creation activity with Distributors
  • Account manager: Follow up day-to-day sales activities, manage design pipeline & KPIs, generate account strategies, lead pricing/sales forecast/business contract working closely with various functional teams in HQ and Japan
  • Establish/maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders in customer’s organization and influence decision
  • Support RFQ and design in process for new projects and conduct price negotiation and drive commercial agreements
  • International experience and knowing cultural differences
  • The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • 7+ years working experiences in sales/account manager/business developer/product marketing and proven record of design wins in high tech industry
  • Consultative sales, business planning skills, account analysis and strategy ability, excellent commercial understanding, negotiation skills
  • Self-motivation, perfection, self-learning capability, creative problem-solving skills are encouraging
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English & Japanese. TOEIC 800 or equivalent.

Education Requirements
