Job Summary
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, driving customer success. This Account Partner role is for a passionate and strategic sales leader responsible for selling the entire portfolio of CRM products to designated accounts. The AP must be a strategic thinker with excellent skills across corporate, commercial, and multiple functions, demonstrating high energy and strong sales management experience. The primary goal is to help customers generate significant business value from their Salesforce investment, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, and driving service adoption through sales activities for new and existing customers, including pipeline generation and executive-level presentations.
Must Have
- Consistently exceed sales quotas in consulting sales.
- Sell and/or implement professional services for strategic consulting firms or large system integrators (2-3+ years).
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Manage large, complex deals (over $1 million).

Department Description
CRM Service Account Partners (APs) are established, passionate, and strategic sales leaders. APs are responsible for selling the entire portfolio of CRM products to designated accounts. APs must be strategic thinkers with exceptional skills across corporate, commercial, and multiple functions, demonstrating high energy while also having strong experience in sales management. The primary goal of an AP is to earn the right to be a trusted advisor to customers, helping them generate significant business value from their investment in Salesforce. They are expected to understand and manage customers throughout their entire lifecycle and promote service adoption through sales activities for new and existing customers. This includes pipeline generation and sales presentations to executive-level clients. The primary measure of success for this role is the year-over-year growth rate of overall service bookings and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Exceeding Salesforce product-related service growth rates and bookings, and achieving organizational health and customer satisfaction targets as a regional leader.
- Utilizing industry expertise and business insights to understand customer motivations, business drivers, strategic goals/objectives, and desired business outcomes.
- Engaging with executive-level customers using consultative sales methods to position Salesforce and themselves as long-term trusted advisors.
- Creating a compelling vision and clearly communicating our transformative solutions with the goal of helping customers generate significant success and business value from their investment in the Salesforce platform.
- Developing and managing territory plans and individualized account plans tailored to customer business objectives. Accurately and timely forecasting, building pipeline, and driving opportunities to achieve year-over-year revenue growth for Salesforce.
- Building strong relationships with licensing sales organizations and regional alliance/partner organizations to aid in success.
- Being a highly regarded role model for collaboration, leadership, and overall performance.
As an AP, you will:
- Use specialized concepts to formulate solutions for critical and broad design issues.
- Address issues impacting departmental success or respond to future initiatives.
- Form extensive networks with key decision-makers and serve as an external spokesperson for the organization.
- Exercise broad discretion in determining the objectives and approach of important assignments.
- Lead teams in highly visible initiatives and mentor others.
Requirements
- 8+ years of consulting sales experience with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quotas. Of which, 2-3+ years of experience selling and/or implementing professional services for strategic consulting firms or large system integrators.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at the executive level and be recognized as a trusted advisor.
- Experience with growing accounts in large, complex deals (over $1 million).
- Ability to collaborate closely and excel in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
