Job Description

The Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions (GCS) works with small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to help them grow their businesses using Google Ads. Responsibilities include delivering against ambitious quarterly growth goals, establishing client relationships, conducting regular consultations, owning a portfolio of SMBs, understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, building quarterly plans, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. The role requires fluent communication in Polish and English, a strong understanding of online advertising and Google Ads, and the ability to build compelling narratives and influence stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in advertising, sales, business development, or marketing and be able to consistently overachieve quotas.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent in Polish and English
  • Google Ads and online advertising familiarity
  • Achieve ambitious growth goals
  • Build strong client relationships
  • Deliver outstanding customer experience
Good to have:
  • Google Digital Workshop certification
  • Experience managing a portfolio and exceeding quotas
  • Strong narrative and storytelling skills
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in an advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in Polish and English fluently to support client relationships in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Google Digital Workshop certification or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Poland, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone consultations with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
