Mission brief: 

You'll join a squad of 5 programmers collaborating across borders in this remote-friendly studio, where your fellow tech peers are located in Ukraine, Iran, Canada, and Tunisia. 

This indie studio has around 40 people in total and is located in the Nordics, Finland.

They are working on a next-gen ARPG/RPG and now they need you, their very first AI Programmer, to support them in creating stellar combat experiences including characters, creatures, weapons and magic.

Think Elden Ring to get a vibe of what they are going for here, inspiration-wise. 

Details:

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: 4 months initially, possible extension up to 1 year

• Occupance rate: 100% assignment (Full-time)

• Work set-up: Remote From Anywhere

• Rate: 20-22 Euros/hour ex. vat (possible raise after 2 months)

Your player profile:

• You are an experienced Programmer with at least 5 years of experience from programming roles in the games industry, working at least 3 years as an AI Programmer 

• Your experience includes developing AI's for combat (creatures and characters)

• C++ and UE5 feels like your home base and is where you have the most experience

• You enjoy the remote work lifestyle and are a collaborative and open person who finds solutions and common ground when working in a distrubuted team

Bonus:

• Experience with developing fantasy action role-playing games

Traits:

Being humble, collaborative, and open-minded will take you a long way and is a good foundation, even if we do understand that you possess a lot more personal attributes.
