The Alliance Marketing Manager for Microsoft will drive strategic marketing initiatives to maximize the business impact of Varonis joint solutions with Microsoft. This role involves developing go-to-market strategies, creating alliance messaging, identifying market opportunities, and cultivating stakeholder relationships. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies, collaborating with Partner Development Managers, driving demand generation, tracking KPIs, managing co-marketing budgets, fostering relationships with marketing counterparts, and coordinating with internal teams.
Must have:
  • Experience with or within Microsoft.
  • Understanding of Microsoft's co-marketing programs and GTM motions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Marketplace and demand generation tools.
  • Proven track record in a partner marketing role.
  • 5+ years of enterprise marketing experience.
Good to have:
  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or ISVs.
  • Good communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Understanding of marketing activities and tactics.
  • Demonstrated pipeline impact of partnerships and programs.
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter.
  • Data-driven mindset with analytical abilities.

Title: Microsoft Alliance Marketing Manager- NAM (Remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Alliance Marketing Manager – Microsoft to join our team.

You will drive strategic marketing initiatives to maximize the business impact of Varonis joint solutions with one of our key alliance partnerships, Microsoft. This role encompasses developing comprehensive go-to-market demand generation strategies, creating alliance messaging and materials, and identifying and influencing market opportunities within Microsoft, all while cultivating strong stakeholder relationships and analyzing results for the biggest impact. A deep understanding of Microsoft’s products, target markets, and go-to-market strategies is critical.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive regional marketing strategies for hyperscalers and technology alliance partners ensuring alignment with Varonis' overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with alliance Partner Development Manager (PDMs) to create and implement joint marketing plans that emphasize our combined value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive demand generation and lead nurturing activities through various marketing channels, including digital marketing, events, webinars, and content marketing.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Manage co-marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Foster strong relationships with marketing counterparts within alliance partners, acting as the primary point of contact for marketing-related activities and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, product marketing, field & corporate marketing and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for alliance marketing efforts.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with or within Microsoft, or managing Microsoft partnerships (e.g., Azure, Microsoft 365, etc).
  • Understanding of Microsoft’s co-marketing programs, partner incentives, and GTM motions (e.g., IP Co-Sell, Solution Workspace, Partner Center).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Marketplace and demand generation tools.
  • Proven track record of success in a partner marketing role within an ISV and/or CSP is required. Cybersecurity industry experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of enterprise marketing experience including partner marketing
  • Demonstrable experience and expertise working with organizations such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), or Systems Integrators (SIs)
  • Good communication (written and verbal), reporting, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a highly cross-functional environment to drive outcome-based plans, programs, and execution
  • Understanding of a broad range of marketing activities, disciplines, and tactics, including field marketing, digital marketing, and industry events
  • Demonstrated pipeline impact of partnerships and programs
  • Highly motivated, self-starter that can build and launch programs and communications within budget and effectively manage multiple timelines
  • Data-driven mindset with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, utilizing key performance indicators to optimize marketing effectiveness.
