Job Summary
Varonis is a cybersecurity company focused on protecting data from the inside out with its autonomous Data Security Platform. They are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps engineer to join their team. This role involves leading the DatAdvantage Cloud's pure SaaS infrastructure, designing, building, and managing cloud-native infrastructure, and playing a key role in architecture planning within a dynamic, agile, and fully remote environment.
Must Have
- Take an integral part in shaping the future of our enterprise-scale environment architecture.
- Provide support and solutions to our growing R&D Groups.
- Design, build and operate cloud infrastructure to enable reliable, rapid, effective and flexible CI/CD Process across all microservices.
- Develop, adopt and maintain new tools to make sure provisioning, operations and monitoring are more efficient and our infrastructure can handle massive scale.
- Help establish standards, practices and innovative solutions that will be used across all microservices and help the entire R&D move fast.
- Work closely with Engineering teams, taking full responsibility and ownership from conception to post-deployment in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- At least 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps/Cloud engineer with passion for technology and a “can do” approach.
- Extensive experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred); Hands-on experience in architecting and building infrastructure using cloud-native technologies to deliver highly available and resilient software systems- Must
- Extensive experience working with Docker and Kubernetes as a container orchestration.
- Experience in working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform preferred).
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD processes (Such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ADO Pipelines preferred).
- Experience with logging and monitoring solutions (such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ADX preferred).
- At least 3 years of Linux/Unix experience, including command line and shell scripting.
- High proficiency in code – Python preferred.
- Experienced in setting up Windows Server infrastructure, including registry configuration and policy manipulation
- Be proactive with a self-starter attitude and strong opinions on what is right, as well as a good listener - you will be part of a super talented and experienced team.
Good to Have
- Experience with streaming and queue solutions (Kafka preferred).
- Experience managing SQL and NoSQL DBs (such as MySQL, Elastic, Neo4j, Redis).

You will join an innovative, high-performance team and work with cutting edge technologies in a dynamic and agile environment.
