Application packager

The Application Packager will join the Thales Netherlands IS/IT team, focusing on packaging applications using Agile/Scrum methods. Responsibilities include daily stand-ups and sprint work, with a strong emphasis on Windows 11, Ivanti Workspace Control, SCCM, MSI Packaging, Powershell scripting, and Advanced Installer. The role requires structured work, English communication, and a hybrid work model, working at least 60% at the Hengelo office.

Must Have

• Experience with Windows 11

In this position you will join the Thales Netherlands IS/IT team. IS/IT is at the core of the Thales digital transformation; there is a close relationship between IS/IT and business.

With a team of around 180 colleagues we provide IS/IT support to our 3500 NL colleagues in several Business Lines and functions. The IS/IT department of Thales Netherlands works closely together with the international IS/IT departments of the Thales group.

About the job

Your work as an Application Packager is varied. Every day you start with the team to discuss ongoing tasks during the stand-up and how to align these tasks. Both within the department and team you work according to Agile/Scrum working methods. Throughout the week you focus on the sprint work together with your team. Your main task will be the packaging of applications.

You ideally have experience with:

• Windows 11
• Ivanti Workspace Control
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• MSI Packaging
• Powershell scripting
• Advanced Installer

• Have a completed MBO degree or have gained similar experience through several years of work
• You don’t need to be a package expert yet – if you’re interested in developing your skills in this field, we’ll provide you with the right guidance and training

• Can communicate in English, both written and spoken
• Can work in a structured manner
• Are available to work in a hybrid model, which means 60% of your working time in at the Hengelo office.
