Paytm is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive the sales of EDC machines to merchants across various locations. The role involves creating an inspiring team environment, managing sales operations, resolving merchant queries, and fostering merchant engagement. The manager will be responsible for hiring, building, and leading a sales team, setting clear goals, delegating tasks, and monitoring team performance. Key responsibilities include motivating team members, identifying training needs, providing coaching, resolving conflicts, and recognizing high performance. Success in this role requires high drive, initiative, team handling experience, and expertise in client identification, cold calling, pre-sales, and lead generation.

About the role: The person should be capable of increasing the sale of EDC machines through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.
