Associate Software Test Architect / Lead (Automation)

Must Have

Role Overview:

• Evaluate, choose, and implement suitable automation tools and technologies.
• Lead a team of test engineers, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Review and enhance existing test frameworks and scripts.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions to ensure testability and quality.
• Generate documentation related to test strategies, plans, and outcomes.
• Be willing to adapt work shifts based on project requirements.
• Contribute to special projects/assignments and undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in software testing, emphasizing automation.
• Demonstrated expertise in spearheading test automation initiatives for enterprise-level applications.
• Proficiency in automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Katalon Studio, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, Appium, Postman, JMeter, Testsigma, etc.
• Sound knowledge of programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the aptitude to troubleshoot intricate systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
