Job Summary

As a Billing Analyst at CSG, you will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and executing billing requirements and tasks that feed into the financial cycle, ensuring quality assurance and continuous improvement. This role is integral to a team focused on the customer billing cycle and enhancing processes and services. Key responsibilities include meeting with clients or internal teams to gather requirements, overseeing billing procedures and analyses, and serving as the primary contact for client billing interests to resolve issues during billing cycles.

Must Have

  • Meet with clients or internal teams to gather and document billing requirements and/or tasks
  • Assume overall responsibility for billing procedures and analyses
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all client and/or internal processes and procedures
  • Serve as the primary contact point for client’s billing interests and work toward resolution of issues/problems during billing cycles
  • Translate business requirements to system requirements
  • Demonstrate system functionality to client
  • Identify potential impacts as business requirements change over time
  • Identify areas of automation, process improvements and be able to lead initiative to completion
  • Gather and analyze information and use it to develop effective solutions to problems or situations
  • Communicate effectively to convey and clarify moderately complex information

Good to Have

  • AA Degree or equivalent in Information Technology related field
  • Telephony wholesale or retail billing experience
  • UNIX knowledge
  • SQL knowledge
  • C# and Python knowledge

Billing Systems Analyst I

As a Billing Analyst you will be responsible for helping to identify, document and execute billing requirements or tasks which feed the financial cycle, providing quality assurance and continuous improvement. This position is part of a team that focuses on the customer billing cycle and continuous improvement of processes and services.

We are looking for a Billing Systems Analyst who will:

  • Meets with clients or internal teams to gather and document billing requirements and/or tasks.
  • Assumes overall responsibility for billing procedures and analyses.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all client and/or internal processes and procedures.
  • Primary contact point for client’s billing interests and work toward resolution of issues/problems during billing cycles.
