Pazu is seeking a Bookkeeper & Payroll Accountant to join its finance team. This senior, full-time, on-site position in Yokneam involves comprehensive payroll management, bookkeeping, and financial operations, ensuring compliance with Israeli regulations. The role requires 4+ years of experience, a Level 2 Bookkeeper certification, and a Certified Payroll Accountant qualification. Responsibilities include payroll preparation, financial system implementation, managing international payments, overseeing employee benefits, handling vendor payments, issuing invoices, and supporting financial closings.
Must Have

We are looking for a Bookkeeper & Payroll Accountant to join our finance team.
This position combines payroll management, bookkeeping, and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with Israeli regulations.
Responsibilities
- Full ownership of payroll preparation- (Collect and update data into the payroll system, perform validation, and make payments).
- Preference for experience with Michpal or Hilan systems. The role includes leading the implementation of our payroll system for the first time.
- Establish bookkeeping at Pazu - Support implementation of financial systems (Priority – advantage).
- Manage payments to international consultants and oversee the process (via invoices).
- Oversee pension and employee benefits processes.
- Handle vendor payments (local & global), supplier contracts, and monthly expense tracking.
- Issue customer invoices and support monthly and annual financial closings.
- Communicate with tax authorities (VAT, Income Tax, and Social Security).
Requirements
- 4+ years of bookkeeping experience (preferably in high-tech or global companies).
- Certified Bookkeeper – Level 2 required (Level 3 advantage).
- Certified Payroll Accountant – required.
- Strong English and Excel skills.
- Deep knowledge of Israeli payroll rules.
- Reliable, Excellent communication, detail-oriented, organized, and a strong team player.
- Strong verbal and written English skills
- 80% position, on-site in Yokneam.
