Job Description

This internship position is for students pursuing a university degree, with dates from January 5th to April 24th, 2026. As a SimHub Developer Intern at CAE, a global leader in training and simulation, you will support the development and enhancement of SimHub features. You will work closely with product and cloud development teams to contribute to CAE's digital ecosystem, which enables customers to manage cases, access product updates, and streamline operations.
Good To Have:
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Must Have:
  • Assist in coding, testing, and deploying new SimHub functionalities.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to improve user experience.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and bug fixing.
  • Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing.
  • Knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, React, Node.js).
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada and meet Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements.

About SimHub:

Role Summary:

As a SimHub Developer Intern, you will support the development and enhancement of SimHub features, working closely with our product and cloud development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, React, Node.js) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Education: Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Location of the internship is Montreal, QC.

Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

\*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
