The role we are offering you:
By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to join the corporate sustainability, ESG strategy and reporting team as a sustainability intern. Are you ready to contribute to the following mandates:
Reporting and compliance:
- Contribute to the final development of FY26 sustainability report (to be published in June)
- Ensure accurate reporting on environmental, social and governance factors for the upcoming regulations associated to sustainability
- Assessment of applicability to the company and/or its subsidiaries
- Collection of reporting metrics and narrative
- Content review
- Data points verification
- Gap assessment on reporting and recommendations for improvement
- Cross-functional project coordination
- Identify reporting requirements as per the European directive on sustainability reporting (CSRD), based on the outputs of the double materiality assessment (to be completed by Q1 FY26)
- Support the preparation and the development of the FY26 compliant consolidated report
- Gap assessment on reporting requirements
- Project management to get additional narrative and data points
- Development of appropriate data collection processes and controls to secure the obtaining of limited assurance of FY26 report
Communications:
- Contribute to the company’s sustainability annual communication campaign:
- Internal communications on intranet (Sustainability insights campaign)
- LinkedIn posts (ad hoc)
- Development of specific ad hoc guides and materials (e.g. Responsible AI guide based on Policy of the same name)
- Improve the company’s website and CAE360
- External page revamp (sustainability section)
- Intranet page revamp
- Handle CAE Volunteer program communications and project management
- Yearly comms plan and campaign to promote the 3-pronged program
- CAE volunteer of the year program.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Verbal and written communication skills (EN/FR)
- Analytical skills, rigor and attention to detail
- Competence in using tools like Excel, Word and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
- Understanding of corporate sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, UNGC, CSRD)
- Awareness on challenges linked to reporting and/or sustainability mandates
Preferred Education
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in environmental studies/sustainable development/communications specialization or related field with 0-2 years/internships completed
