This Channel Sales Executive role at Motorola Solutions focuses on developing new business with end customers for Avigilon's video security and access control products, fulfilled through partner channels. Responsibilities include meeting revenue quotas, promoting products, supporting sales activities, managing a sales funnel, conducting sales calls, and emphasizing new account development within the assigned Montana territory. The role requires daily prospecting, achieving 'Trusted Advisor' status with partners and customers, and accurate sales forecasting.

  • Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships
  • Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Functional understanding of Microsoft and Google Apps, especially Excel/Sheets
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and demonstrate new software at a high level
  • Having an established client base in the assigned territory
Must Have:

  • Emphasis will be placed on new account development
  • Work with vertical marketing teams to identify end user engagement opportunities through associations, conferences, and tradeshows
  • Lead video and analytics solution development efforts that best address end-user needs
  • Prospecting on a daily basis using all tools available
  • Attain “Trusted Advisor” status with customers and Channel Partners
  • Sales Forecasting as required
  • Maintain CRM data for new and existing account development
  • 3+ years experience in Sales, Video or Physical Security
  • Must reside in the state of Montana and be in the Billings, Missoula, or Bozeman areas
  • Ability to travel weekly to within territory (~50% of territory travel)

  • Leads video and analytics solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel
  • Prospecting on a daily basis using all tools available will be key to the success of this position
  • Attain “Trusted Advisor” status with customers and Channel Partners to enable increased System and Business Development
  • Sales Forecasting as required
  • Maintain CRM data for new and existing account development

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of video security solutions sales experience is preferred
  • 3+ years of customer-interfacing experience is desired
  • Physical security solutions experience a plus
  • Experience working with channel strategies and initiatives
