As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will engage in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure environments and applications. Your typical day will involve cross-technology administration, including operating systems, databases, and virtual networks. You will also focus on scripting and monitoring automation execution, ensuring that incidents are managed effectively with a strong emphasis on service restoration. Additionally, you will oversee the rollout of patches and manage the release management schedule and implementation, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of cloud operations.
Must Have
- Proficiency in AWS Administration
- Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications
- Perform cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks)
- Scripting and monitoring automation execution
- Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration
- Act as operations support for compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents/requests
- Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation
- Perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert
- Actively participate/contribute in team discussions
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems
- Assist in the development and implementation of cloud infrastructure strategies
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
Good to Have
- Experience with cloud security best practices
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages
- Experience in incident management and service restoration processes

Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in AWS Administration. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
