As a Security Managed Services Practitioner, you will apply security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people from cyber threats. You will define cloud security frameworks, document control implementations, and transition to managed operations. Your role involves designing and implementing security solutions, collaborating with teams, and staying updated on security trends, contributing to the full SDLC for complex Java applications.
Must Have
- Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Design, develop, implement, test and optimize Java-based features and functionalities
- Write well-documented, testable, and reusable Java code adhering to best practices
- Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment
- Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Work effectively with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure successful project delivery
- In-depth knowledge of Java programming language, including OOP principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Extensive experience with J2EE technologies (e.g., Servlets, JSP, JDBC, EJB, JMS)
- Experience with popular Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot)
- Experience on web services (e.g., SOAP, RESTful APIs)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit) and integration testing tools
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks

Summary:
As a Java/Security Lead/Architect, you will define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals. You will document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations. Your typical day will involve designing and implementing security solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of complex Java applications.
- Design, develop, implement, test and optimize Java-based features and functionalities, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Write well-documented, testable, and reusable Java code adhering to best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the India team.
- Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Work effectively with developers, designers, and product managers (potentially across locations) to ensure successful project delivery
Professional & Technical Skills:
