Job Summary

The Cloud System Administrator will be responsible for administering and maintaining cloud-based and distributed systems, supporting containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker, and configuring software load balancers. Key duties include utilizing SSH-based utilities for secure operations, monitoring systems with various tools, applying networking fundamentals, and implementing security best practices. This role requires collaboration with engineering teams in a high-security, mission-focused environment.

Must Have

  • Administer and maintain cloud-based and distributed systems.
  • Support containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Configure software load balancers (e.g., HAProxy, Nginx).
  • Utilize SSH-based utilities (rsync, pdsh, pdcp, WinSCP) for secure operations.
  • Monitor systems with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Filebeat, Grafana, rsyslog.
  • Apply knowledge of networking fundamentals: VLANs, port channel bonding, Layer 2/3 interactions.
  • Implement security best practices in cloud operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams in a high-security, mission-focused environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Mathematics.

Qualifications & Requirements

U.S. Citizenship Required

️ Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

Education & Experience:

1–3 years of relevant experience required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Mathematics highly preferred (may substitute for 2 years of experience)
