Job Summary
The Cloud System Administrator will be responsible for administering and maintaining cloud-based and distributed systems, supporting containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker, and configuring software load balancers. Key duties include utilizing SSH-based utilities for secure operations, monitoring systems with various tools, applying networking fundamentals, and implementing security best practices. This role requires collaboration with engineering teams in a high-security, mission-focused environment.
Must Have
- Administer and maintain cloud-based and distributed systems.
- Support containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Configure software load balancers (e.g., HAProxy, Nginx).
- Utilize SSH-based utilities (rsync, pdsh, pdcp, WinSCP) for secure operations.
- Monitor systems with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Filebeat, Grafana, rsyslog.
- Apply knowledge of networking fundamentals: VLANs, port channel bonding, Layer 2/3 interactions.
- Implement security best practices in cloud operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams in a high-security, mission-focused environment.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Mathematics.

Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Citizenship Required

Education & Experience:
1–3 years of relevant experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Mathematics highly preferred (may substitute for 2 years of experience)
