The Communications Intern will join the Global Public Affairs team to help share the company's story globally. This six-month program offers hands-on experience in the global Internet industry, supporting proactive public policy and thought leadership. The intern will collaborate with various business and marketing teams to create and distribute communications materials, engage influencers, and assist with media events, accelerating their career in communications.

Must Have

  • Support global communications activities
  • Listen, learn and share findings on areas of interest
  • Assist with creation and distribution of communications materials, both online and offline
  • Identify and engage key influencers and stakeholders
  • Assist with organizing media events, tours and other activities
  • Create and share ideas to improve how we communicate

About the Hiring Team

The Global Public Affairs team is committed to identifying and implementing proactive public policy positions to support the business and provide thought leadership across a number of issues, including technology, entertainment, and international trade and investment.

What the Role Entails

We’re looking for an inspired Communications Intern to join us! As a member of the Global Communications team, you will help share the company’s story with audiences around the world. This six-month program provides a unique window vantage point into the global Internet industry and hands-on experience to accelerate your career in communications.

Working from our US headquarters in Palo Alto, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with various business groups and marketing teams across the world, to help create and share the company’s story.

  • Support global communications activities
  • Listen, learn and share your findings on areas of interest
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of a wide range of communications materials, both online and offline
  • Identify and engage key influencers and stakeholders
  • Assist with organizing media events, tours and other activities
  • Create and share ideas to improve how we communicate

Who We Look For

Minimum Qualifications

College junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, business, law, political science public policy, international relations, journalism or the liberal arts.

The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $20.78 to $38.08 per hour. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will be eligible for 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked and up to 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, full-time interns are also eligible to enroll in the Company-sponsored medical plan.
