Job Description

The Community Manager for APAC will be responsible for growing Uniswap Labs through organic and community efforts in the APAC region. This role involves being actively involved in the local crypto community, representing Uniswap Labs, and sharing market intelligence with the headquarters. The responsibilities include managing the brand presence, providing support, organizing meet-ups, proposing joint efforts with other crypto projects, and providing weekly reports. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise on trading protocols, be a self-identified crypto enthusiast with a strong network in the APAC crypto community, and have a solid understanding of the Uniswap protocol. The role also requires fluency in Korean, a willingness to travel to NYC quarterly, and the ability to work US ET hours for 1-2 days per week.

Must have:

Deep technical expertise in trading protocols.
Deep involvement in the crypto and crypto trading community in APAC.
Deep understanding of Uniswap protocol and related products.
Deep network within and across projects in APAC crypto communities.
Fluent in Korean.
Willingness to travel to NYC 1x/quarter.

Responsibilities:

To grow Uniswap Labs via organic and community efforts in APAC. Also, to continually share product feedback and market intel to drive Uniswap Labs’ growth and success in APAC.

Be in the mix, be deep in the local crypto community. Represent Uniswap Labs everywhere — and share market intel back with HQ
Serve as representative in Discord, triaging across internal Uniswap Labs teams, spanning support, developer relations, and community
Actively advocate for Uniswap Labs’ brand and technology in relevant community channels, including Telegram, to develop a local, loyal and growing community
Organize small local meet-ups with clear outcome of educating and promoting Uniswap Labs’ developer tools
Propose joint efforts with relevant crypto projects in the region to increase activation
Provide weekly reports on activities, metrics, and new proposals

Requirements of the role:

Background as a community manager with deep technical expertise on trading protocols
Self-identified crypto degen who has deep involvement in the crypto and in particular the crypto trading community over several years in APAC.
Deep understanding of Uniswap protocol and related products to the point where they can answer most questions about how to use, value props, comparison to other products/protocols, etc.
Deep network within and across projects in APAC crypto communities
High integrity and ability to align to Uniswap Labs’ brand and presence standards
Fluent in Korean
Willingness to travel to NYC 1x/quarter as needed
Willingness to work US ET hours 1-2 days per week.
