Job Description

The Community Manager – Sports & Entertainment is responsible for managing, engaging, and growing the brand’s online communities across social media platforms. This person will play a crucial role in shaping the brand’s tone and presence within the sports, entertainment, and online gaming categories, ensuring content is dynamic, authentic, and aligned with marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience managing digital communities for sports, entertainment, or betting brands, be creative, passionate about sports, and skilled in leveraging digital trends to build engagement and brand loyalty.
Must Have:
  • Develop and execute social media and community strategies tailored to sports and entertainment audiences.
  • Manage the brand’s daily social media presence (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, etc.), promoting interaction and audience growth.
  • Create, curate, and schedule relevant and engaging content that reflects the brand’s identity and tone.
  • Monitor and participate in conversations around sports, entertainment, and gaming, identifying opportunities to engage with audiences in real time.
  • Act as the authentic voice of the brand, ensuring consistent communication across all digital touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Design, Content, Paid Media, and Brand teams to ensure campaign alignment and maximize impact.
  • Identify and coordinate influencer partnerships and ambassador programs within the sports and entertainment sectors.
  • Analyze and report community performance metrics, engagement levels, and sentiment insights to guide content strategies.
  • Manage reputation and crisis communication across channels when necessary.
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, sports culture, and industry best practices, especially within sports betting and casino marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or related fields.
  • 4+ years of experience managing social media communities for sports, entertainment, or online gaming brands.
  • Proven understanding of sports audiences and fan engagement, preferably within sports betting or casino categories.
  • Strong storytelling and copywriting skills adaptable to various digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
  • Experience using social media analytics tools and preparing performance reports.
  • Ability to design and execute content calendars and engagement initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • English proficiency: B1–B2.
  • Passion for sports, entertainment, and digital culture, with a proactive and trend-driven mindset.
