Passtech Games is looking to train a Community Manager on a 6-month internship to work on our game: Ravenswatch.
Your role will be to support the Communications team for our game and studio. You will work directly with the Communications Director and report to her, managing our social media accounts, moderating our community on various platforms, and monitoring player feedback as Ravenswatch is updated.
During this internship, you will learn how a communications campaign works, from the initial strategy to the distribution of content and marketing actions.
Your tasks will include:
- Creating content for our community website and Passtech Games social media pages (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Designing social media strategies for different communication channels
- Moderating our game communities on Discord, Reddit, and Steam forums through events, Q&A sessions, and moderation
- Collecting player feedback, suggestions, and issues from players so that the team can analyze and address them.
- Conducting studies, sentiment analysis, and monitoring.
We are committed to a healthy and inclusive work environment in order to develop our games in the best possible conditions. This internship is to be carried out in person at our offices in Villeurbanne (69), close to the Charpennes metro station. Remote working is permitted for two days per week.
- Training focused on communication, marketing, or audiovisual media
- Proficiency or good knowledge of current social media platforms
- A passion for managing and moderating gaming communities
- A strong interest in the indie gaming scene, Roguelikes, Early Access, Live-ops, etc.
- A way with words, a taste for writing, diplomacy, and tact
- Very good level of English required (reading, writing, speaking)
- Team spirit, kind to others
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in community moderation on forums, Discord, or other platforms is a plus
- Knowledge of Photoshop is a plus, but not required
- Contract type: Internship
- Duration: 6 months
- Availability: Starting as soon as possible
- Salary: Legal compensation
