Emerald City Games is a collection of the best designers, developers and artists, and we’re looking for an awesome 3D Artist to join our team!
Someone that has a good work ethic, attitude and wants to work on great games with great people.
Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with teammates and art managers to achieve AAA visual quality
Creating post-launch content and designing graphics for promotions outside of the game.
Taking part in regular art reviews and discussions
Developing games that you yourself would want to play!
Technical Requirements:
Proficiency in digital painting software such as Adobe Photoshop or Procreate.
Portfolio or any work demonstrating strong artistic abilities and an understanding of design, form, color and composition.
Portfolio or any work that explores a variety of ranges in multiple styles.
Ability to break down character, environment and prop designs for 3d Production.
Complete fully rendered in-game and marketing assets (“Shippable” quality)
High-level attention to detail.
Good communication skills, ability to explain concepts and support artistic choices.
Knowledge of animation and/or game development processes is a plus.
Other Skills (Characters):
Strong understanding of anatomy.
Strong understanding of facial anatomy and can illustrate a wide range of expressions.
Ability to capture, simplify and create caricatures in various styles.
Produce rotation and three quarter production ready design for 3D.
Ability to create and design anatomically believable creatures.
Other Skills (Environment):
Strong architectural sense, understanding of scale and its relation to details.
Ability to work in greyblock, to design and conceptualize sets and environments suitable for gameplay or cinematics.
Ability to conceptualize the environment and work based on rough storyboards or narrative story points provided by the creative team.
